Welcome to Sigistry. By using sigistry.com, our verification badges, or our public MCP endpoint, you agree to these terms.
What Sigistry is
Sigistry is an independent catalog and verification service for third-party developer tooling (plugins, skills, and MCP servers) built for AI coding agents. We list software written by other people; we do not author, maintain, or control the listed software.
What verification means (and does not mean)
A "Verified by Sigistry" badge means the plugin passed our published, open-source checks (see our verification methodology) at a specific point in time, pinned to a specific commit where indicated. Verification is a best-effort static review. It is not:
- a guarantee that the software is free of bugs, vulnerabilities, or malicious behavior;
- an endorsement, warranty, or certification of fitness for any purpose;
- a review of versions or commits published after the audited pin.
You install and run listed software at your own risk, and you are responsible for reviewing anything you run against your own security requirements.
No warranty; limitation of liability
The site, the catalog, the badges, and the MCP endpoint are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sigistry shall not be liable for any damages arising from use of the site or of any third-party software listed on it.
Acceptable use
The catalog, badges, and MCP endpoint are free for personal and commercial use. Do not abuse the service: no scraping at disruptive rates, no attempts to forge verification status or badges, and no use of the Sigistry name or badge assets to imply verification of software that has not passed our checks.
Intellectual property
Listed plugins remain the property of their respective authors under their own licenses. Sigistry's own site content and verification tooling are open source in our GitHub organization. Sigistry is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, PBC. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC, used only to identify compatibility. Other product names are trademarks of their respective owners.
Removal and delisting
We may delist or un-verify any plugin at any time, including for security regressions, license issues, or violations of our listing policies. Authors can request removal of their own plugin by email.
Changes
We may update these terms; the current version always lives at this URL with its effective date.
